The first import container trains have arrived at the Zhetygen Transport and Logistics Center as part of the joint CRCT – KTZE – Istcomtrans service.

June 3, 2024 – The Zhetygen Transport and Logistics Center (TLC) marked an important milestone with the arrival of the first import container trains under a new end-to-end multimodal service, jointly established by CRCT, KTZE, and Istcomtrans. This service enables the delivery of containerized cargo from central China to Kazakhstan through the Zhetygen TLC.

The modern railway infrastructure and the TOS automated management system of the Zhetygen TLC allow for record-fast container handling, ensuring accurate forecasts for delivery times to the final destination.

Almas Abaydeldenov, CEO of Istcomtrans, Hao Goqi, CEO of CRCT Kazakhstan, and Adilzhan Pazyilbekov, Director of Operations at KTZ Express JSC, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony. This symbolic moment represents the success of their joint efforts and a significant contribution to the development of regional transport logistics.

Istcomtrans organized a tour of the Zhetygen TLC for representatives of CRCT, KTZ Express, and Shandong Hi-Speed, showcasing the operation of the new bulk cargo transshipment terminal launched in May 2024. This terminal is unique in the region and has no analogues in Central Asia.

Mr. Hao Goqi, CEO of CRCT Kazakhstan, expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation and an increase in the number of joint container trains in the future.

Istcomtrans representatives announced development plans that envisage expanding the service to handle up to 20 container trains per month.
